Isabellas turns 4!

Well we celerated Bella's birthday twice, once at home with grams and granddad and the immediate family and once as a last minute party at brads parents motorhome. Bella's first cake on her b-day

this game was so fun, it had a water balloon inside and a timer and it would pop the water balloon and get whoever was holding it wet! It was basically hot potato with a water balloon.

it was a nice night for a campfire, Olivia and daddy are enjoying the warmth.

we got this skitter for Isabella for her birthday, and just as I thought, Ava loves it. She has hit her "2's" and everything is "mine" well this infuriates Bella and they constantly have arguments over the current toy they are playing with and who it belongs to.

Ava is so funny, her "terrible 2's" are so funny we just laugh at her. This is a common occurrence, her placing something (toy, sippy cup, etc) between her legs and walking with it as far as she can before it drops. she is pretty good at it!

Camping in Julian

So we went camping up in Julian (a cute bed and breakfast town known for its apple pies) with a bunch of people from the neighborhood over memorial day weekend. We had the whole area rented out and we had so much fun. We went hiking, the kids played on their toys, we had a water balloon fight, a campfire, smores, etc!! look closely at what is in Bella and Sydney's hand--fishing poles! they practiced casting the whole weekend and bella had a large piece of wood attached to the end. Since then she has gone fishing again and the practice has made a difference, she can cast really well now!

I thought this tree was so interesting. You can clearly see where the fire had gotten to it. I believe it was the Cedar fire ??!

Did I tell you Ava LOVES dinosaurs and books, and what a combination when it is a Dinosaur book!

I uttered a couple words "get granddad garey" and that was all it took for him to be another target!

Palm Springs Vacation

So I went a little crazy with the quantity of pictures in this post. It is from our vacation in the beginning of May to Palm Springs with Brads parents. The weather was beautiful and everyone had such a great time. We swam every day, went out for great sushi, played Wii in the rec. room, worked out, and enjoyed the nice summer nights! the family right before brad and I went out for absolutely amazing sushi. We never had better salmon in our lives!
