So we went camping up in Julian (a cute bed and breakfast town known for its apple pies) with a bunch of people from the neighborhood over memorial day weekend. We had the whole area rented out and we had so much fun. We went hiking, the kids played on their toys, we had a water balloon fight, a campfire, smores, etc!!
look closely at what is in Bella and Sydney's hand--fishing poles! they practiced casting the whole weekend and bella had a large piece of wood attached to the end. Since then she has gone fishing again and the practice has made a difference, she can cast really well now!

I thought this tree was so interesting. You can clearly see where the fire had gotten to it. I believe it was the Cedar fire ??!

This is where his hands remained the rest of the time! LOOK closely at this picture at Brads chest, there is a balloon that is just starting to hit him--good photography don't you think (actually just luck but why not take credit for it!)
I uttered a couple words "get granddad garey" and that was all it took for him to be another target!
